The hotel opened in 1927 and was extensively remodeled in 2008 and has garnered the nickname "the pink palace of the Pacific." Hotel amenities include valet parking, concierge, Japanese concierge, two private pools, a private beach, full spa, business and fitness centers and currency exchange. There are two on-site restaurants as well as a prix-fixe "Aha Aina," essentially an authentic Hawaiian dinner with live music and local dancers. Twenty-four hour room service is available.

Sheraton Princess Kaiulani
The Sheraton Princess Kaiulani is a mid-range hotel one block from the International Market Place and one mile from Kapiolani Park. The hotel was built in 1955 and is comprised of two 11-story towers and a 29-story tower which are styled with contemporary decor. Hotel amenities include a 24-hour front desk, fitness center, laundry facilities, outdoor pool, concierge and a business center. Two on-site restaurants are available, as well as room service. A Polynesian themed dinner and dance show is also available on-site.
Rooms start at 300 square-feet and include a mini-fridge, cable television and windows that open. In-room safes are available for a fee. Suites start at 735 square-feet and include a separate living area. Smoking and non-smoking rooms are available.

Hawaiian Monarch Hotel
The Hawaiian Monarch Hotel is an economy property a mile and a half from the Hawaii Opera Theater and University of Hawaii at Manoa, and two miles from the Hawaii State Capitol. The hotel rises 44-stories and includes amenities, such as an outdoor pool with deck, 24-hour security, concierge, business center and an on-site salon and convenience store. Three on-site restaurants are bars serve food all day.
All rooms are traditionally styled and include air-conditioning, cable television, mini-fridge, microwave and daily housekeeping. In-room safes are available for a fee. Views of the city, ocean and mountain are available.
