Invitations must express the tone, location and purpose of a party.
Retirement is all about saving money. This theme is a part of everything retirees strive for. To go along with that, free retirement invitations are easy and quick. They require little to no money and can be made by anyone, regardless of their level of experience. Decorating them can be very enjoyable, and the more time you devote to this process, the better the results tend to be.
Instructions
Creating the InvitationNew from the drop-down menu. If a menu pops up requesting a size for your new image, select 8" wide and 11" tall. You can use Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Paint or any other program you want.
3. Copy the image you want as a cover for the invitation and paste it into the image editor window by pressing CTRL+V or clicking Edit>Paste from the drop-down menu.
4. Resize the image so it takes up roughly 1/4 of the page, and position in the bottom right corner. This can be accomplished by clicking and holding the image, then dragging it down so that its bottom right corner is aligned with the bottom right corner of the blank image in the image editor. To resize the image, click and hold the top left corner and drag it towards the bottom right corner until it takes up only 1/4 of the page.
5. Save the file by clicking File>Save As. When prompted, choose a file name and location. Saving the new image to the desktop makes it easy to locate later.
6. Right click the new image file on your desktop and click "print" from the menu that appears. This will send the image to your printer and begin printing the image on the lower right corner of each piece of paper.
7. Fold the printed paper into cards. First, fold the paper in half height-wise with the image located in the lower right corner facing out. Next, fold the paper in half width-wise, centering the cover image on the outside of the card.
8. Open the card like a book. Write the occasion, tone, location and any other pertinent information about the party, followed by the recipient's name.
