Printing your own flyers is a cost-effective way to advertise your business, a bake sale, a charity fundraiser or a sports team. You can design your own printable flyers using your computer, without needing expensive software or special printing equipment. Personalize and customize the flyers with any themed design, color or wording you need for any occasion or event.
Instructions
1. Open a new document in any software with design capabilities, including graphic design, photo imaging or word processing software.
2. Choose a font style, color and size from the toolbar located at the top of the page or click the font icon to open the options available in the software.
3. Type a title at the top of the page. Choose a font size that make the title large enough to be seen from a short distance, especially if you will hang the flyers on public bulletin boards.
4. Add a decorative shape or clip art image. Click the clip art icon at the top of the page or choose the Shape tool from the menu bar to draw your own design.
5. Choose a smaller font from the text bar and type additional information about the event or occasion. Be sure to include the time, date and location of the event.
6. Place several sheets of paper or card stock in the printer. Select the printer icon from your software. Choose the number of copies you want to print and click "OK" to print the flyer design onto the paper.
