Instructions

1. Cover tables with Caribbean-themed table cloths. Attach grass skirting around each table.

2. At each place setting, arrange Caribbean-themed paper supplies, such as plates and napkins. Add tropical plastic flatware next to each plate. Place a beach hat on each plate with a little rubber tropical-fish water squirter, one of the novelties.

3. Create a centerpiece at each table of a small inflatable palm tree with a fake palm frond or two. Decorate each table with a few gold pirate coins around the centerpiece, as well as an assortment of sea shells. Lay a few little plastic bottles with treasure maps inside on the table.

4. Place a little brightly colored, tropical-themed plastic tote by each place-setting or on the chair for each guest. In each tote, include a few pirate and tropical-fish tattoos and stickers, activity pads and small games, crayons and other novelty items that invite guests to discover what's inside.

5. Open a colorful paper parrot and attach one on a chair at each table arrangement as a conversation piece.
