One LDS singles activity in Utah is being a part of a volleyball team.
There is a large concentration of young adults who are part of the Church of Latter-Day Saints in Utah. Among these young adults, many find themselves single and in their prime years. For these individuals, there are LDS single activities in Utah that can help them meet their mate. Since the activities revolve around like-minded individuals practicing the same religious beliefs, singles at these activities can be assured they will find another practicing LDS member.
Utah Valley Firesides
One LDS single activity in Utah is called "Utah Valley Firesides." This activity occurs every Sunday at different locations. At this singles' activity--which occurs after choir practice--refreshments are served. In order to attend one of the Utah Valley Firesides singles events, all divorces must be final. Participants must be dressed appropriately--which includes no hats or shorts.
Utah Valley Dances
On Friday nights, there are Multi-Stake Singles-sponsored Utah Valley Dances. Optional dance lessons begin at 8 p.m. and are followed by a dance from 9 p.m. to midnight. Participants at the Utah Valley Dances must have finalized their divorces if applicable as well as dress appropriately. Appropriate attire includes no hats or shorts and dresses must be at least knee length. Dance locations vary and have included Orem, Provo and Pleasant Grove.
St. George LDS Singles
The St. George LDS Singles group plans various activities for LDS singles in the southern parts of Utah, mainly St. George. Examples of some of the LDS single activities are "Volleyball & Activity Night," which is typically on Thursdays from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at various locations. Another example of an LDS singles activity would be the singles choir and the "Potluck and Fireside," which are on the occasional Sunday evening.
