Tour Hawaii On A Budget

While it's nestled in the beautiful Pacific ocean, Hawaii is a rather easy destination to reach. Said to be one of the most beautiful places on earth, some think it is way too expensive for their budget. Not so. Follow these steps to tour Hawaii on a budget.

Instructions

1. Use a travel agent. They get paid to help plan your Hawaiian tour on a budget. Be open and honest with the travel agent about the set budget and they can make the rest of the arrangements.

2. Check websites such as Expedia and Travelocity for package deals including airfare, hotel and car rentals. Many websites offer such deals to attract visitors on a budget.

3. Order a local newspaper from Hawaii. It will include local restaurants, hotel advertisements and possible coupons for specials.

4. Travel during the off season. If the tour of Hawaii is scheduled during the off season there will be fewer visitors, so hotels and restaurants will be running specials because of the lack of customers. This will help to save money and make the allotted budget go further.

5. Chat with locals. The local community can give tips on great local restaurants and hot spots to check out. They are not there to vacation and their dollar has to stretch as well. By asking locals, you not only save money but get great tips and create you own custom tour that is not necessarily available to all who visit.
