Floral centerpieces add a special touch to a dinner table or buffet spread. They are a pleasing gift for the birthday person to enjoy for days or months. You can make centerpieces that reflect the taste of the birthday person with favorite flowers and colors. They can also be made to fit the theme of a birthday celebration. You can make birthday centerpieces by following the instructions below and using any container or flowers. Does this Spark an idea?


Instructions


1. Cut foam to fit firmly into the container. Add water if using fresh flowers.


2. Cut pieces of greenery from the flowers. If using real flowers cut pieces of leather leaf or cedar for your centerpiece.


3. Cut stems of flowers about twice as high as your centerpiece dish or container.


4. Insert pieces of greenery and floral stems into the outer area of the container.


5. Fill in the container with more flowers.


6. Cut the stems on flowers in a different, complementary color. Place one in the center of the arrangement. Add two more in the front sides of the container.


7. Extend the length of the centerpiece by adding flowers at the sides of the container.


8. Add a ribbon bow, birthday pick and noisemakers into the bouquet.
