Make Personalized Bingo Cards

Numbered bingo corks randomize a winner.

Personalizing board games is a great way to customize any event or road trip. Bingo is a time-tested family favorite. You can gear your bingo game toward individual people or party themes using premade cards and craft supplies along with household objects. Additionally, you might choose to utilize imaging software and a printer to create personalized bingo cards from scratch. Whichever way you choose to personalize your bingo cards, your guests will appreciate the extra effort and fun. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

Decorate Premade Cards

1. Purchase a commercially available bingo set that includes the cards. Individual players mark these cards with ink or place holders.

2. Decorate the cards while ensuring all bingo grids remain visible. You may use markers, scrapbooking decorations, ribbon and any other decorative items to personalize the cards. Use decorations related to your theme.

3. Secure the decorations in place with glue or tape. Allow sufficient time for any glue to dry before your bingo game. Hot glue works best when gluing over a laminated surface.

4. Personalize each bingo card with an individual or team name. You may find that this level of customization creates an even more inclusive and fun atmosphere for your game participants.

5. Pair each bingo card with a marker or stamp. Attach it to the card with string. If you're using placeholders to avoid marking up the cards, attach these in a small felt bag. You can do this by punching a hole in one of the corners of the bingo card and using yarn.

Print Your Own

6. Create an image on your computer that includes your bingo grids, or find templates on the Internet to modify.

7. Add visual elements tying into the theme or an individual person. You may wish to use the same image on each bingo card, making only small changes to personalize the card. This approach combines uniformity and customization for time efficiency and visual appeal.

8. Print the cards. Your design may call for black or colored ink. Allow the ink on each card to dry. This is especially pertinent with photo paper.

9. Laminate or decorate the printed cards further with your choice of three-dimensional elements.

Special Order

10. Choose an online source for personalized bingo cards.

11. Upload your own images, or choose from the available templates. Design your cards as you wish. You may need to leave a blank space in order to write individual names on each card when you receive them. Alternatively, check to see if the service you're using offers customization on a per-card basis.

12. Finalize your designs, and place your order. Allow adequate processing and shipping time.
