Print Name Tags For Xmas

Print Name Tags for Xmas

During the Christmas season there are so many parties going on. It may seem that almost every weekend there is a new party to go to. At these parties there are a lot of strangers. Some people have trouble talking to complete strangers, especially if the person's name is unknown. This can even be the case at work parties where there are hundreds of employees. Make name tags for all of your guests at your next Christmas party, whether the party is for work, church or just a bunch of your friends who may not know each other. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Use pretty much any graphics program on your computer to create interesting name tags for your Christmas party guests. Look through the templates on your graphics program and choose one that looks like a name tag. Look on clip art sites and download the template for a tag that you like.

2. Enlarge the tag a little if necessary, to make it larger than those used for Christmas packages. Remove the "To" and "From" if that appears on your name tag template.

3. Add clip art to the corners of the name tag of Christmas symbols such as a Christmas tree, a star, a snowman, a manger or snowflakes.

4. Type in the names of the guests if you know all their names; otherwise leave the name tags blank and hand write them in at the party. (At a party where most people will know each other, encourage everyone to put fake names on their tags.)

5. Copy and paste several name tags so that multiple tags will print out on a single sheet of 8 ½-by-11-inch card stock.

6. Do a test print on a single sheet of regular paper. Use a new ink cartridge for best results. Make sure that all the tags print out properly on the paper. Make adjustments if necessary.

7. Load some card stock into your printer. Print out one sheet at a time.
