Personalize water bottles to market your business or charity.
Water bottles are an individualized beverage choice for guests as weddings, corporate picnics, family reunions and school functions and can be personalized to suit your needs. Include your married names, company logo, family name or school mascot as well as any other complementary images or text that draw attention to your organization or firm. Creating the labels takes only a few steps but purchasing the materials to print them yourself may be costly, depending on your budgetary limits.
Instructions
1. Remove the existing labels from purchased water bottles by pressing a sharp knife between the label and the bottle and gently pressing downward. Measure the width of the label with a ruler and ensure that when purchasing the self-adhesive, waterproof labels, that they are the same width.
2. Open a blank word-processing document or self-adhesive label template correlating with the size of the waterproof labels from companies such as Ruff N Tuff, Hewlett Packard, Ripped Sheets or Sheet Labels.
3. Insert images and text into each label. For example, when a charitable organization sponsors an fundraising picnic, the organization logo is inserted into the center of the label and include text such as "Thank you for your continued support."
4. Copy and paste the images and text into each label section on the sheet of labels. Preview the printing page to ensure that all pictures and wording is visible on the paper. Adjust the size of the images or text as necessary and print a test page on a blank piece of paper.
5. Insert a waterproof label sheet into the printer, if satisfied with the test page, and print onto the specialty paper. Peel the self-adhesive label from the sheet and center it on the water bottle. Smooth the label from the center toward each end and overlap the two ends of the label at the back of the water bottle.
