Make Your Own 21st Invitations

A home computer can help in making 21st birthday invitations.

A 21st birthday is a milestone that many people like to honor with a party surrounded by good friends. Making invitations for a 21st party can be a fun and simple project and only requires some basic paper materials to complete. With some tips and know-how, making your own 21st birthday party invitations can be quick and rewarding.

Instructions

1. Visit a website that offers free clip art images, like free-clipart.net or free-graphics.org, and browse to find some suitable graphics. Images like a martini or wine glass work well for a 21st birthday invite. When you find the appropriate image, right click on the picture, and choose copy.

2. Open a Word document on your computer. Right click on the document, and choose paste. The clip art graphic should now be on the page. Below the image, type in the text of your invite, including party date, time and location.

3. Print the Word document, making sure to print as many copies as you need to match the number of guests you will invite. Cut off the blank space of the page with scissors, leaving behind a small square with just the text and clip art left behind.

4. Place a few drops of glue in the corners of the printed page, and press the printed page firmly down onto a piece of colored card stock, which you can find at most office supply stores. Let dry.

5. Place each invitation into an envelope. Drop some confetti pieces into the bottom of the envelope for added detail. You can find confetti shaped like martini glasses at party stores.
