Set Up Food For A Bridal Shower

A bridal shower buffet will feed and entertain your guests.

According to Jimmy Wade's Heaven City Restaurant, which prides itself on its buffet presentation, elaborate buffets are gaining popularity for wedding parties. An appealing bridal shower buffet will feature an assortment of food that caters to every taste, whether your guests are meat and potato lovers or vegetarians. This food is best presented with the nicest dishes and cutlery possible, as well as various decorations that will accent your table's beauty.

Instructions

1. Line a long table with various buffet items. Create a floral arrangement and put it in the center of the table at the back. Place the plates at the beginning of the table and the cutlery at the end.

2. Create a smaller table for the cold items, such as various salads. You may also want to add an ice sculpture to this area.

3. Make an assortment of food that will please everyone. Consider vegetarians when preparing meals and put the meat in its own area. Create a seafood section, turf section and salad section.

4. Place the drinks at a separate table. Include an ice sculpture at the center of the table if you are hosting an elegant bridal shower. Surround the sculpture with drink glasses.

5. Make a dessert table and assemble the dishes there at the beginning of the meal so that the guests know what is to come and they can pace themselves. Serve hot and extra-cold desserts only near the end of the main course.

6. Rotate food as the night progresses. This is particularly handy to keep food warm if you don't have platters that can be sealed.
