Print Homemade Water Bottle Labels

Customize your water bottle label as a special event or company giveway.

Water bottles are a convenient favor for parties, weddings and carnivals. Whether the event is outdoors or indoors, a water bottle giveaway will help your guests quench their thirst. You can order customized water bottles from promotional outlets, buying the bottles in bulk. If you are working within a strict budget, you may choose to print your own water bottle labels at home.

Instructions

1. Purchase large mailing labels from your local office supply store. The labels you choose should be 2 inches by 4 inches. Choose white or colored labels, but keep in mind that design options are more abundant with white labels.

2. Remove the labels from the water bottles you would like to use with window cleaner or warm water and a cotton swab. Ensure there is a bottle for each invited guest. Surplus bottles can be used as decor at your event or office.

3. Click "File," then "Tools" in your word processor. Select the "Envelopes & Mailings" option and click "Mailings" from the sub-menu. A window will appear with options to enter the type of mailing label you are using. Enter the template number for your mailing labels.

4. Design your water bottle label with the information you want the recipients to see. If you are designing labels for a business, remember your company logo and contact information. If the water bottles will be used for a special event, create a more personal message such as the name of the event, date and a funny quote. As the mailing labels will be too short to wrap around the entire bottle, center your text on the mailing label.

5. Print your labels and adhere two mailing labels to each bottle so that the short edges of each label touch one another on the bottle.
