Write A Fun Bridal Shower Invite

Write a Fun Bridal Shower Invite

One way to get guests excited about attending a bridal shower and give them an idea of what's in store is to write a fun bridal shower invite. The wording you select to describe the occasion should create a high level of anticipation that will have invitees counting down the days to the event. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Pick a theme for the bridal shower, such as an alphabet theme. This calls for the assigning of a letter of the alphabet to each guest. Guests must bring a gift for the bride-to-be starting with the assigned letter.

2. Create a rhyme to let invitees know the focus of the shower such as:

Join us on September 28, 2010 for an Alphabet Shower honoring Jen!

Arrive at the party at 2:00 pm. Bring a gift that starts with an "N!"

We'll see you at 15 Hummingbird Lane for some alphabetical fun come sun or rain!

3. Include a lunch menu in the invitation that contains at least three courses. Designate something that starts with an "A" for the first course such as avocado bruschetta. Choose something that starts with "B" next, such as beef Wellington. Select something sweet for the third course that starts with a "C" such as chocolate mousse cake.
