Do you want to have a bingo game but are not sure exactly get one started? Bingo is a fun game that adults and children can play. Starting a bingo game is really simple. Make sure you have all the necessary bingo supplies to get the game rolling as quickly as possible.
Instructions
1. Distribute the playing cards. Make sure each player has one card. Players will set their card on a flat surface such as a table.
2. Explain the rules of the game. The person calling the numbers will be in charge of explaining the rules before the game. Let everyone know (your choice) how you plan to make each call for the game. You can call it the traditional way or make up fun ways to play with children to make it more educational.
3. Distribute the chips or homemade markers. The players will need enough playing chips or markers to cover each number or space on their card. Always cover the center free spot.
4. Place all the numbers (job for the calling person) in the shaking cup or number mixing machine. Mix up all the numbers so the game will be fair.
5. Draw out one number at a time saying each letter along with the number. Speak into a microphone or in a loud enough manner that all can hear what is being called. You will call the number associated with the row letter in which the number will be found (example: B-12 or O-42).
6. Cover spaces. The players will then cover a space if they obtain the called pattern. The object is to obtain five chips in a row, whether it is a straight line or in a diagonal pattern. When you reach five in a row, you have a Bingo.
7. Place the numbers aside (number caller's job) so you know which ones you have called to ensure a correct Bingo has been reached at the end of the game.
