Make Crocheted Flowers

Flowers are one of the most beloved forms of nature that we use to decorate our homes and clothing. Artists have studied them and using their talents have tried to duplicate them in many ways. Crochet is a medium used to make a large variety of flowers to embellish clothing, bedding and other home decor. If you are new at crocheting, it's best to start with simple blossoms. A moderate to expert crocheter can find patterns for crocheted flowers with dimension, while the advanced patterns give a finished beautiful crocheted full size flower with multiple petals that can be placed in a flower arrangement or bud vase. The blossoms can be used for embellishments on many items. You can use fabric glue and set a small yellow pom pom into the center for a daisy theme. Hand stitch them to a hat, curtain tie backs, a purse, clothing, baby clothes and headbands just to name a few. This is a versatile pattern that can be done with smaller or larger hooks and any yarn that you desire. This is also very similar to the flowers that are made into tablecloths and afghans.
