Damask print is a classic and elegant pattern to consider incorporating into your wedding decor, and it can be used in everything from your centerpieces to your wedding cake. Your invitations should reflect your wedding theme, as the invitations are your guests' first glimpse of your wedding. Creating your own damask print invitations is simple and can be done at home using basic craft and card making supplies.
Instructions
1. Fold the card stock into quarters. Crease the folded edges firmly before unfolding the paper.
2. Cut the four sections of the card stock out to create the bodies of four invitations. Trim any uneven edges to make all of the corners and sides even.
3. Measure and cut strips of damask print paper that are equal in length to the width of each card stock invitation. The strips of paper should be approximately 2 1/2 inches wide.
4. Apply a thin coat of glue to the back of each strip of damask paper. Adhere one strip along the top edge of each invitation.
5. Use the hole punch to create two holes in the center of the top of each invitation. The holes should be approximately two inches apart.
6. Cut a four-inch strip of ribbon for each invitation. Loop the ribbons through the two holes on the top of each invitation, and tie the ribbons into bows.
