Assemble this fruit basket instead of making a fruit salad the next time you have a party and watch how your fruit basket become the talk of the party.
Instructions
1. Cut the top off of your pineapple with a knife and discard. Slice 1/2 inch thick slices from the remainder of the pineapple.
2. Push your flower cookie cutter into the center of each pineapple slice and cut out your flowers.
3. Slice your cantaloupe in half and scoop out the seeds. Use your melon baller to scoop out one ball for every two flowers. Cut the melon balls in half.
4. Put a bamboo skewer through the center of the pineapple flower and then push the melon ball half onto the tip of the skewer, creating the center of the flower.
5. Remove the leaves from the strawberries if you wish and push each of them lengthwise onto their own skewers.
6. Wash your grapes and stick five or six onto each skewer. Push them up the skewer so that they touch one another.
7. Place your floral foam or play dough into your basket. Stick your skewers into your basket and arrange your fruit flowers to your liking.
