Make Life Size Photo Cut Outs

Greet your party guests with a life-sized cutout of you

Life-sized photos can be used for marketing and for directing customers and travelers. You can use a life-sized cutout at a birthday party, and everyone can take a photo with the "guest of honor." Cut out the face and let people stick their head in the hole to take a photo as a body builder, bikini model, funny character or as you. Create your own life-sized cutout for your next party and see who mistakes it for you. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Take a photo of the person. It will need to be at least seven megapixels so that it is not distorted when you blow it up.

2. Take your photo to a copy shop and tell them how large you want it. The copy shop will give you the photo any size you wish, and it will be high quality.

3. Glue the entire photo to a large sheet of cardboard. First, roll up the photo inside out. Apply glue to the cardboard in small sections with a small foam paint roller and slowly unroll the photo onto the cardboard. Use a clean roller to roll out any air bubbles. Use only a thin layer of glue so the photo does not get too wet or damaged from the glue.

4. Cut out the photo and cardboard using a utility knife. Cut slightly outside the actual photo so that any mistakes are hidden or can be repaired.

5. Put a heavy rock or brick inside your cardboard box and seal it with packaging tape. This will hold your cutout in place and give it support.

6. Tape the cardboard box to the back of your life size photo cutout using double-sided tape. Make sure it is secure, and then stand it up.
