Throw A Cheap Party On A Budget

Throw a Cheap Party on a Budget

There are many ways to throw a cheap party on a budget. You already know what you want to spend on the party, and you have a general idea of a theme. Shopping at Discount Stores is a great idea, but there is something that most of us neglect to do when throwing a party. Previous parties usually result in leftover party supplies. Learn use what you have around the house to throw a great party on a budget.

Instructions

1. GATHER YOUR SUPPLIES.

Look in boxes in your garage, places in your kitchen where you store items, and craft supplies that you threw off to the side. Chances are in your favor that you have items that you can use for a party. The great thing about gathering these supplies is that you can develop a theme with what you have laying around.

2. DEVELOP IDEAS.

Old 4th of July decorations will allow for a great summer picnic. Valentines Day leftovers can set the mood for a relaxed sit down dinner party for couples. Use a beach towel for a table runner, and use sand pails for appetizers. Use your children's birthday party leftovers to incorporate into your theme, and to also make your party kid friendly.

3. REUSE FOOD IN YOUR FRIDGE.

You probably have enough food in your house for a party, or at least enough food to create a base from. Use fruit that is left over in your fridge to create a Sangria. Mix bags of chips that are already open to create a party mix of chips. Cut up your vegetables and set ranch out as a dip. Throw frozen shrimp on the grill, or make shish kabobs for a fast, easy, and tasty meal for your party.

4. BUY CHEAP AND IN BULK.

When you shop around for your party, try to buy things in bulk. You can buy a big box of tea candles or floating candles that you can use year round for decorations. Buy napkins and plates that will fit any occasion. Always save your decorations from previous parties so that you will always be prepared to throw together a party. Become a member at your local Sam's and Costco so you are able to take advantage of great deals. Buying meat in bulk is always a great idea so that you always have something ready when throwing a party on a budget.
