Tie The Knot In A Wedding Favor

Dipped pretzels make a personalized wedding favor.

Incorporate knots into your wedding theme by giving pretzels as favors. Pretzels are the perfect food to send home with your guests. They come already knotted and are delicious dipped in almond bark. This favor is simple to make and can be personalized by coloring the almond bark to match your wedding colors.

Instructions

Preparing the Almond Bark

1. Break the almond bark into 1-inch pieces. This helps it melt faster and more uniformly.

2. Melt the almond bark on low heat in the saucepan. This can take 5-10 minutes.

3. Add food coloring 2-3 drops at a time and stir until the desired color is reached.

4. Keep the almond bark on low heat while dipping the pretzels.

Dipping the Pretzels

5. Put 5-10 pretzels in the almond bark and stir to coat them.

6. Remove the pretzels one at a time with kitchen tongs and shake them gently over the pan to remove excess almond bark.

7. Lay the pretzels flat on the wax paper on the counter to cool.

8. Repeat with the rest of the pretzels.

9. Start with a fresh batch of white almond bark if you are going to make different colored pretzels.
