As you become active in forums on the Internet or develop your own websites or blogs, you may need a free and easy way to transform your picture into a cartoon. The Web is home to plenty of applications you can use. BeFunky is one of those applications.
Instructions
1. Surf to the BeFunky website and click on the "Get Started Now" button.
2. Click the "Apply Artsy Effects" tool and then select "Cartoonizer" from the left column of effects. Although you can select any of the applications, start with the Cartoonizer application. As you progress, you have a chance to change the application.
3. Select the method for uploading a photo. Chose from several options that include "Upload from PC," "From Facebook" and "Via Webcam."
4. Crop or rotate the picture before turning it into a cartoon by clicking on the crop or rotate buttons and then clicking OK. Click "Skip Editing" if you don't need to crop or rotate.
5. BeFunky now funkifies your picture based on the cartoonizer application you chose in Step 2. You can change the application or modify the settings for your chosen application if desired.
6. To have more fun with your cartoonized photo, click on the "Goodies" icon. Using goodies, you can add speech bubbles, fun stuff and borders.
7. When you are happy with the cartoonized picture, click on "Share" to send an email with the picture or "Save" to save it to a local folder.
