State parks or city parks offer large chunks of land with picnic tables, playgrounds and barbecue pits suitable for family reunion get-togethers. Some require a fee to reserve a certain area in advance, while some are first-come, first-served. If one of the relatives in the family has a huge yard, the family reunion can be planned for that big open space.
